2007 Christmas Dinner

On Saturday evening 52 members showed up at Fremont Hills for our annual Christmas Party. That is the MOST PEOPLE WE HAVE EVER HAD!! After cocktails and conversation, it was time to eat. Either the food was better than normal this year, or we were extremely hungry!! After dinner, everyone was anxious to open presents. (That is the kid in all of us). After much pondering, some shaking and squeezing, everyone had a package and had been given a chance to exchange with someone else. When all was opened, Mary and Jack Henderson ended up with the piston. Everyone knew that Mary had been wanting it for the last several years, but ended up giving it away!! Finally, it went home with the Hendersons. What fun it will be next year trying to disguise it so Jim Cohen won't have a clue!! THE PERFECT END TO A PERFECT PARTY! Our very own Jerry Cummings provided the entertainment, and it could not have been better. We all sang along to our favorite Christmas Carols, danced to our favorite Rock and Roll tunes, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A BIG THANK YOU to Jerry for his time and talent. Jack and I would like to thank all of you for coming and making our party the BEST ever. We want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! See you next year.





WHO IS GOING TO WIN "THE DREADED PISTON" THIS YEAR?

Last year Mary said, "I was sure I was going to take it home with me, but ended up giving it away!!" A few days before our party this year I received an e-mail from Mary asking, "Could you give me a little hint as to how you are going to wrap it?!! I would like to take it home! Ha!"
We were entertained by our very own Jerry Cummings, 2008 Club President Thank you Jerry for your wonderful music! WOW! What a singer!
