It was an absolutely beautiful weekend the Chamber and Visitor's Bureau ordered for the E.S. Corvette Weekend (and no rain) !!!  It all began with the Thursday Auto Cross at Davis Chevrolet in Berryville.  It lasted into the afternoon and then the seminars took place in the evening at the Inn of the Ozarks.

Friday, the Fuel Economy Run left from Rapid Roberts with a beautiful drive thru the countryside.  There are still six who have not reported back.  Guess they are still trying to read their instructions/maps or just enjoying it all --  The late afternoon Camera/Historic Tour, with stops at the Passion Play, Blue Spring Heritage Center, the haunted Crescent Hotel and the Elk Viewing Tour to Ponca both left from Pine Mountain.

Saturday's Car Show filled Pine Mountain.  Bobbie Jo Lee (from the NCM & an entertainer in Nashville) was surprised by a visit from "Wendy" of the Pine Mountain Jamboree, and she gracefully "flowed" thru the whole comedy presented.  Trophies this year were awarded to Jim & Karen Cohen for their straight axle and  to Greg McNabb for Auto Cross.

The "servals" ESCW has adopted (originally from Exotic Animal Paradise in Strafford), were on display at Turpentine Creek -- the last stop in Friday afternoon's Poker Run.  All registrants were given the opportunity to "Name the Servals" to become eligible to win a free night's lodging at TCWR's newest Safari Lodging...it's really neat --

Corvette fans gathered Sunday morning for free coffee and donuts for a departing get-together and took a short road trip to Pea Ridge National Battlefield to end this year's activities.

The current word is that next year the Bikes, Blues & BBQ in Fayetteville will be a different weekend than the Corvette Weekend...

A huge thank you to all that participated and/or help make the event such a success!

Throughout its long and colorful history, Eureka Springs has been described as a land of glamour, health and scenic splendor.

What began as an oasis of healing nestled in a lush Ozark valley remains today a place recalling the elegance and pace of an earlier era. Reports of Basin Spring’s miraculous healing properties in the spring’s waters brought 10,000 people to live here by the spring of 1879.

The town's unusual name “Eureka”, from the Greek “I found it”, pays tribute to the curative nature of the area’s abundant spring waters.
