PLANNING MEETING
January 20, 2007

On a cold and nasty Saturday night, twenty-eight (28)
brave souls ventured out to Fremont Hills Country Club for the annual planning
meeting. Jim Cohen started the
meeting as a comedian telling a story about “Little Dave”. Next time you see
him ask him about “Little Dave”. Jim indicated that it has been several years since
the club had done a club photo opportunity. This year we have two opportunities.
The first opportunity will be on June 2nd at Hammons Field when the
club does a night at a Springfield Cardinals’ game. The other opportunity will
be at Fremont Hills Country Club on one of the fairways. Date and time will be
announced. Mary H. presented the treasurer’s report dated
December 31, 2006 and turned over the treasurer position to Cindy H. Cindy H.
started to collect the 2007 membership dues. Then the fun began with the club members starting to fill the 2007 calendar with exciting activities. Below is what we have so far, then the February 10th meeting we will complete the year with many more events: |

The Mystery Dinner is under consideration to be held on the second Tuesday of
every month. We need sponsors. Jim
C. wants to discuss at the February 10th meeting to add articles to
the club’s by laws. He will be sending a list to me to be sent out to the
members before the meeting. The
club voted to approve all expenses to send Bruce B. to the meeting in Eureka
Springs, AR. He will discuss the Vintage Vettes of the Ozarks role next year at
the show and what Eureka Springs will want concerning the road tour for 2007. The
meeting was adjourned at 9:00PM. See everyone February 10th. Respectfully,
