Nine cars, with 16 people, took a chance on the weather and showed up at 2:30 for our trip to Cooky's.  Other than a sprinkle or two, the weather was great.  We took our time getting there and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.  They were ready and waiting for us when we got to Cooky's.  The service was great and the food was wonderful.  It was like eating Sunday dinner at your Mom's house!!  After telling everyone to order dessert first, I waited and had to take a second choice because all the peach pie was gone!!  I think Bernie had the same problem. After we finished our meal, everyone found their own way back home.   All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon.  Jack and I want to thank everyone for coming.  Thanks to the new members, and we hope to see you at the upcoming events.
