MOTHER NATURE WAS AT HER BEST 

The morning was bright and beautiful as 24 Corvettes showed up for our trip to Mammoth Spring.  What a sight we were going down the road!!  For over two hours we drove thru the beautiful countryside - rural Missouri at its best - and reached our destination about 12:30.  After lunch at the River Bend Restaurant, we watched ground hogs at play and men fishing, we headed out to take in the sights of the beautiful Mammoth Spring State Park.  After a couple of hours, we met back and 15 cars went on to the Grand Gulf State Park to see Missouri's little Grand Canyon.  If you missed this, you really missed an interesting part of Missouri's history.  After walking around the perimeter, and some of us went all the way down, we headed back to Springfield.  I think all would agree we had an absolutely perfect day.  Thanks to all of you for coming, and for helping make this trip the VERY BEST!!
