Mammoth Springs State Park

Road Trip

June 27^th 2009

We had 14 shiny Corvettes show up for the ride to Mammoth Springs.  We departed from Murfin's Market at 9:00 AM for our 140 mile ride to Mammoth Springs.  Arriving a little after 12 noon, we had lunch at The River Bend Restaurant.  It was great food, and super service.  After lunch several members toured the State Park while some decided to go SHOPPING.

Dave, Cindy, Rodger, and Cheryl wanted to go to the big flea market.  Of course, Dave says it won't take long since he was only going to do a drive-by.  Well, you all know that is not going to happen.  After many hours they finally showed up downtown, cars loaded to the brim ~ Just kidding!  At approximately 3:00 PM we departed for home stopping at Koshkonong for a photo.

Everyone had a great time, and a fun ride.  Kathy, and I would like to thank everyone who came out to support this fun event.

While we were having a wonderful time at Mammoth Springs State Park, Darrel and Betty S. won First Place Class Award, and the People's Choice Award at the Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Razorback Corvette Club's Corvette Show.
