Hi everyone,

 

We made it home safely from our overnight trip to Mt Magazine and everyone was thanking me for hosting the event. I got to thinking about that last night and realized that I should be thanking them. So here it is....Thank You   for making the cruise a success. Without the 21 beautiful Corvettes cruising through the scenic roads in Arkansas, and the 41owners laughing and having a great time at the Lodge, the trip would have been just so so. Being with friends is what it's all about. You guys made the trip worthwhile.

There isn't a better group of people that I would want to help me celebrate my Birthday. Thank you for singing Happy Birthday (John H was singing it in Doo Wop), and the birthday cake. It was delicious and only had 3300 calories/slice. I needed that as I was becoming a little malnourished.

But of course, someone just had to steal the spotlight. There we were, at noon on Sunday, standing in the hot sun in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Ozark, AR, watching Roger show off his electrical engineering skills. There were a lot of ooh's and ah's as we watched Roger replace his battery. But, after Roger got back a little spark back in his life, we were on our way to the Winery at Altus where I saw a whole bunch of brown sacks being loaded in the back of the Vettes. We did our share to help jump start the economy.

Sadly, we missed those who were not able to make the cruise. We had twice as many on the cruise as last year, so if would be great if we can double it next year. 42 Vettes would look awesome winding through the curves on the Pig Trail.

I wonder if the groom that said "I Do" Saturday night was saying "What did I Do" Sunday morning. Buyer's remorse can hit you hard.
